Established in 247, there are more than 1750 years, this temple is one of the oldest Buddhist places of worship in the area. The main hall dates from the beginning of the century (1921) and other buildings have little more than 150 years. The temple was once proud of its eight treasures, now a distant memory, the famous well which was at the entrance (Bubbling Well) is the last to be destroyed in the 1950s. This place is simple and popular remains very active to this day. The contrast with the surrounding ultra-modern skyscrapers is instructive.
