An archer, an NCO and a general (distinguished by their hair) are exposed so we can admire them up close. Unfortunately this pit has been extensively looted.
All trenches were protected by roof beams impregnated with a preservative. Clay statues were fired at 900 ° C. Pit No. 3
It is the smallest of all the pits. It was discovered later, two years after the main body. There are about 60 soldiers and a carriage. This would be the command post.
Exposed parts that are likely part of a larger whole. It was common at the time an emperor was buried with his servants do and ministers often sacrificed. Pottery statues replace men. This army was built to accompany the first emperor Qin Shi Huangdi in the realm of the dead. Yet to open the tomb of the emperor.

The tour ends with a film of a quarter hour tour with a panoramic camera. This film is a reenactment of the construction, destruction until the discovery of the terracotta army. The film is shown in English and is very well done
